OK, nice Burgundy White, great value.

Wow! deep and complex, typical Monbousqet and probably 2000 is the best vintage so far. Slightly less arosma then two years ago but still great.

Coffee, oaky and really nice nose. Medium - full bodied, still young but enjoyable, much better than the last 2002 first growths tasting one.




I don't understand why Cheval Blanc are so expensive, I have had this for several times in the past few years but not once I felt impressed. This bottle was a little bit closed and slight funky, medium to full bodied and reasonable length. Above average.

Old style Haut Brion, really nice, elegant nose from the glass, medium bodied but with smoky, mineral favour, complex and good mouthful feel. Very good indeed.

Nice Sauternes, with a lot of tropical fruits, pineapples, citrus, orange peels, pears, honey you can find from the arosma. Very balance, not too sweet and with good acidity, fresh and not boring.

Thick, slightly jammy but not overdone, very long aftertaste, excellent.
